Is our data secure, backed-up, confidential?
Data is backed up nightly and written to multiple disks.
We can perform full backup recovery in the event of a system-wide emergency.
Our hardware is also fully redundant so even if one disk or server fails nothing
will be lost and the system will not go down. Our uptime is over 99%.

Can we export our data if we stop using Recruitgear anymore?
Absolutely. All paying customers are given the opportunity to download their data in XML format upon exiting the system.
Can I start and stop using (and paying for) RecruitGear?
Yes, you can stop using RecruitGear at any time. There is no long-term usage contract. And when you are ready to start hiring again, you can sign up and start taking and managing applications that same day. Please note: once you stop paying the monthly fee for RecruitGear you will no longer have access the Control Center and the data in it.
Can we install Recruitgear on our own server?
This version of RecruitGear is a hosted version. We maintain the servers, the security, all the updates and improvements so you don't have to worry about anything. The RecruitGear team manages the system remotely, so if an issue pops up, it can be fixed without having to recall software or ask customers to install a patch.
What if I need help? Do you provide support?
We provide unlimited support via email for our paying customers and our goal is to respond within the same business day. We also maintain a robust and active Forum where you'll usually find the answer to most any question about RecruitGear.
Is training available?
RecruitGear is a tool that lets you bring your recruiting effort online without the
hassle of having to change your own process.
Every effort was made to keep the system as simple as possible, and allow it to be effortless to learn. All RecruitGear functionality
is accompanied by online help, along with our online Support System and Forums, should you have any other questions not covered in these
help files.
Can you customize Recruitgear for us?
We designed RecruitGear so that you can customize it yourself; you can change the colors, upload your own logo, and set up custom work processes for your account. However, if you're interested in a fully customized solution for your organization, contact RecruitGear at 1-888-420-1770.
Are there signup fees? Termination fees? Any hidden fees we should know about?

Can we pay for a year in advance? Do you accept POs, payment by check or American Express?
We are setup to accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. All accounts are set up on a monthly recurring billing cycle. Statements are automatically emailed to the account owner every time you are charged.
Are there any financial benefits of paying a monthly fee vs. our owning the software?
The subscription model minimizes the up-front cost for small businesses and makes software spending more predictable. The fee includes full use of the system and 24/7/365 access to the Internet server where it is housed. Plus, the monthly fee includes all system maintenance and updates.
Is Recruitgear available in other languages besides English?
Spanish and French versions are in development and are scheduled for release soon.
Can I print the applications I receive?
Yes. Once you click [print] the entire application will print as one continuous document.
